🧰 Rosie’s Repairs — Mobile Service Policies
Appointments & Availability
All services are by appointment only.
Rosie’s Repairs operates as a mobile, owner-run service alongside other work commitments. Appointments are scheduled based on availability and confirmed in advance.
Walk-ins and unannounced drop-offs are not accepted.
2. Estimates
Free estimates are provided for all repairs. No work will be done without customer approval. Estimates may be given in person, via text, or email.
3. Diagnostic Fee
A $25 diagnostic fee applies for non-running or complex issues. This fee is waived if the repair is approved. The fee helps cover travel and inspection time for mobile service.
4. Repair Authorization
Customer must authorize all repairs in writing or through text/email confirmation before work begins.
5. Parts Deposit
For repairs requiring special-order parts, a deposit may be required up front to secure the parts.
6. Storage & Return Policy
Rosie’s Repairs operates as a mobile service and does not maintain a public shop location.
If equipment is picked up for off-site work, it must be accepted for return within 7 days of completion unless another date is agreed upon in writing.
After 7 days, a $5/day storage fee may apply.
7. Abandoned Equipment & Lien Policy
If equipment is not claimed and paid for within 180 days, it may be sold under Tennessee’s Artisan’s Lien Law (T.C.A. § 66-14-101) to recover repair and storage costs.
Rosie’s Repairs reserves the right to retain or sell unclaimed equipment after this legal holding period.
8. Payment
Payment is due in full upon completion or delivery of the repaired equipment.
Accepted forms of payment: cash, card, or digital (Venmo, PayPal, etc.).
Equipment will not be released until payment is received in full.
9. Warranty
All labor is warranted for 30 days from the completion date.
Parts are covered under their individual manufacturer warranties.
Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, or unrelated failures.
10. Customer-Supplied Parts
No warranty is provided on customer-supplied parts. Labor warranty still applies.
11. Pickup & Delivery Service
Rosie’s Repairs provides equipment pickup and return delivery for $25 within a 15-mile radius of Marshall County, TN.
Beyond 15 miles, a fee of $1 per mile (round trip) applies.
This fee covers both pickup and return, regardless of whether repairs are approved.
If the customer cancels after pickup or declines service, the pickup fee still applies and is non-refundable.
12. Pickup & Site Safety
When Rosie’s Repairs is picking up or servicing equipment on-site:
All animals — especially aggressive dogs — must be secured.
Equipment must be accessible at ground level and ready for service or loading.
If the machine is blocked, buried, or unsafe to access, service may be refused or rescheduled.
The customer is responsible for providing safe, clear access to the work area.
13. Photos & Serial Numbers
For protection of both parties, equipment may be photographed and serial numbers recorded during intake.
14. Refusal of Service
Rosie’s Repairs reserves the right to refuse service for abusive behavior, unsafe working conditions, or unpaid account history.
15. Workload & Turnaround
Rosie’s Repairs is an owner-operated, single-technician service. Repairs are handled one machine at a time, in the order they are approved.
This ensures quality workmanship but may extend turnaround time during peak seasons.
🔄 Update Notice
Updated November 2025: Rosie’s Repairs currently operates as a mobile small-engine repair service. A physical shop location is planned for the future, but all current services are performed via mobile visits or scheduled pickup/delivery.
